We may have wonderful outdoor spaces...but the state of littering is a real concern...it is mentally disturbing to see the plight of wildlife and nature trying to survive amidst the horrendous levels of litter in our green spaces and streets! Much more needs to be done educating and enforcement of the laws around litter...particularly in the 3 Secondary Schools!....the amount of litter dropped on a daily basis by teenagers going to and from eatery’s if a disgrace!

8, Lockdown has given the opportunity for us to walk around our areas more than we would normally do and it really is wonderful, the beaches are amazing, we need to capitalize on this to bring people into the areas, even before lock down you would struggle to get a coffee by the beach, we need to make investment more easier, just look at gro in Irvine people would come. Needs to be more for them to do, stop doing all these consultations and start investing, where are the beach huts? The pop up shops? The new play park ?

We must also focus on what our area has to offer to bring people in to add to the economy, this will create jobs, and help reduce some of these issues.

Alcohol & drug dependence, mental health and child poverty/neglect are all inter-related. Alcohol & drug dependence need to be addressed and dealt with as a mental health issue as this is closely related to poverty in general. This are the most pressing issues in the Three towns. Well maintained public spaces give people a sense of pride in the area and can attract visitors who boost the local economy. Council needs to consider providing many more litter bins like on the European continent whereby temporary bins are placed even on the beach for people to use. Instead, the bins all along the promenade are completely full especially during a hot sunny day. However, litter strewn everywhere, even in quiet countryside walks, rivers, etc, are a result of council policy to only empty household bins 3 weekly. As you walk around on the eve of when bins are due to be emptied, it is clear that this provision is not enough. Bins are impossible to close and the wind or birds scatter litter every

All of the themes are a priority there are none which should be put ahead of the others my thinking around this is that each one impacts the others
3 Alcohol and Drug Dependence can impact on 1. Child Poverty, 2.Employability 4. Healthy Lifestyles 5 Mental health and Wellbeing 6. Social Isolation and Loneliness, 7 Community Safety the same would apply for 8 Well maintained public spaces can have a positive impact on Mental health and Wellbeing, Social Isolation and loneliness community as well as safety as example which again would impact on Healthy Lifestyles each theme has equal importance in our community. I get we need to start somewhere but perhaps we need to target which of the "themes" would have the most positive impact on our area rather than a frame which means something will be excluded or is more deserving of funding and focus than others?
