Neighbourhood Watch is a great way for us residents to help improve community safety, by coming together to share insight, suggestions, information and support. Be great to see this service back in the spotlight, showcasing the real benefits of forming/joining one. Are there any NW members on here able to share their views ?

It is to be hoped that when responsibility for traffic offences - parking on double yellow lines etc is given to NAC that they enforce this assertively and gain much income from this.

My idea would be to go back to basics. Make a point of getting to know your neighbours, know what strengths they have that could be of use to your community, look out for one another and know there is always a safe place if ever you feel in danger.

in our community thats exactly what we do , we know almost everyone in the area and look out for each other, but sometimes there just need to be an increase in the amount of police walking the areas.
